The McKenzie House Foundation and the Historical Society (17 East 3rd Court, Panama City) of Bay County will present “The Old Folkie” Ken Sizemore in concert. Ken has performed at the Second Sunday Concerts several times before and is one of our favorite performers. His repertoire of Classic Folk and Popular Music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s is a perfect fit for our venue and our supporters, and his singing and playing have been pleasing crowds all over the U.S. for almost 50 years. Ken will take requests for your favorite songs from artists such as Peter, Paul, and Mary, The Kingston Trio, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Johnny Cash, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, and many others.
Since this concert will fall on Mothers’ Day, a rose will be presented to each mother in attendance. Refreshments will also be served. |
